This small-group journey from Queenstown to Dunedin combines scenic road travel and one of New Zealand’s most iconic train rides. Depart Queenstown in comfort aboard a luxury Mercedes-Benz vehicle, passing through the Gibbston wine region and the historic Kawarau Gorge. Along the way, visit charming towns like Cromwell, Clyde, and St Bathans — each with its own story from Otago’s gold rush past.

From the remote outpost of Pukerangi, board the Taieri Gorge Train for a breathtaking rail journey into Dunedin. The train winds through deep gorges, crosses towering viaducts, and passes dramatic rock faces carved by ancient rivers. Arriving at the ornate Dunedin Railway Station, your adventure concludes in one of New Zealand’s most architecturally beautiful cities.
