Each cellar door offers its own wine styles, with tastings that may include Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and other locally grown varietals.
Food options may feature cheese, meat or seafood platters, Green-lipped mussels, Aoraki salmon, tapas or local food-truck dishes. Seasonal strawberries, cherries, apricots and nectarines may be available from December to February.
Optional Marlborough Stops
Depending on timing and availability, the tour may include Makana Boutique Chocolate Confections, gourmet tastings or a visit to the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre.
A short drive to Victoria Domain may also be added on the return to Picton, offering elevated views across the port, Queen Charlotte Sound and your cruise ship.
