From the gentle rhythm of paddling to the stunning scenery of the Lower Kaimai Ranges, every moment offers something special. IMPORTANT INFO

  • Paddle for about 1 to 1.5 hours, with the entire tour lasting 3 hours.
  • We set off depending on when the Cruise Ship arrives at the Port. (This might change depending on the Cruise schedule).
  • Meet us outside the pedestrian gates at the port for pick-up.

RESTRICTION

  • We need at least 4 people.
  • Everyone's welcome, regardless of age.
  • We're closed on Christmas Day.

INCLUSIONS

  • Transport to and from Lake McLaren from the Port.
  • A guided drive around Mount Maunganui, Tauranga, McLaren Falls, and Lake McLaren.
  • All canoe gear provided.
  • A thorough safety briefing from the trip guide.

Peak season (26th Dec – end of Feb)
  • Outside 48 hours before travel: Full refund**
  • Within 48 hours before travel: No refund.
Off-peak (1st March – 24th Dec)
  • Outside 24 hours before travel: Full refund**
  • Within 24 hours before travel: No refund.

For groups over 10 people:

  • Outside 14+ days before travel: Full refund**
  • 7-14 days before travel: Full refund less NZ$150 admin fee**
  • Within 7 days before travel: No refund.

Weather and Cruise Ships

If the cruise ship cannot dock due to weather issues we offer a full refund less booking costs.
