Explore Waiheke’s Hidden Wine and Artisan Scene

The Afternoon Artisan Tour takes you off the tourist trail to the eastern end of Waiheke, where boutique vineyards and rugged beauty await. Enjoy premium wine tastings in peaceful, remote settings where you’ll meet passionate producers and soak in the serenity. This relaxed afternoon offers an immersive journey through Waiheke’s artisan side, far from the usual crowds.

After a scenic drive, settle in for a platter-style lunch at a boutique vineyard with views that capture the essence of island life. Each tasting is a chance to savour not only the wine but also the character and stories behind it. It’s an ideal outing for those wanting something truly local, intimate and unhurried.

Craft Beverages and a Relaxed Island Finish

To round off your afternoon, you’ll visit The Heke—a local favourite that offers something different with its small-batch whisky and craft beer tastings. It’s a flavour-packed finish to a day focused on quality, creativity, and Waiheke’s artisan spirit. You’ll experience a side of the island many visitors miss.

If you’d like to extend your island escape, we can arrange a dinner reservation or drop you in Oneroa Village to enjoy the evening at your own pace. Whether you stay or head back, the tour leaves you with rich memories and new favourite flavours. It’s an unforgettable way to spend your afternoon on Waiheke.
