HIGHLIGHTS

LOGISTICS
- Duration: The tour lasts approximately 2 hours. Please allow 2.5-3 hours in total to account for transfers and preparation time.
- Location: The adventure takes place in Rotorua, Bay of Plenty (BOP), just 20 minutes from Central Rotorua.
- Trip Times: Daily departures at 9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, and 2pm. Additional departure times at 8am and 3pm are available during summer.
- Group Size: Each tour accommodates a maximum of 10 people, ensuring a personalised experience. Larger groups can be accommodated upon request.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Weight Limit: The maximum weight limit is 130kg. There is no minimum weight requirement, but guests must fit the necessary safety equipment.
- Fitness Requirement: Participants should be reasonably fit and able to walk approximately 400 metres along the boardwalks.
- Medical Restrictions: The tour is not suitable for pregnant individuals or those with certain medical conditions. Please contact us if you have any concerns or questions regarding medical restrictions.
- Weather Conditions: The tour proceeds in most weather conditions, including rain. Participants should dress appropriately for the weather. Tours may be cancelled if wind speeds exceed 30 knots for safety reasons.
- What to Bring: Participants should wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and covered footwear. Rain jackets are recommended if the weather is wet, and caps or hats are suggested if it is sunny.
- Personal Items: Cameras and phones are allowed at your own risk. Video cameras are available for hire at an additional cost per camera to capture your adventure.
OPTIONAL EXTRAS
- Viewpoint Video Camera: Hire a video camera to capture your zipline experience from start to finish, including all the thrilling moments and scenic views. The camera is attached to a selfie stick for various angles, and a personalised QR code will allow you to download and share your video.
- Hot Pool Visit: Enhance your adventure by adding a visit to the secluded Manupirua hot pools on Lake Rotoiti. This tranquil natural experience is accessible by boat and perfect for relaxing after your zipline tour. Must be booked with 24 hours’ notice.
- White Water Rafting: Add an exhilarating white water rafting experience on the Kaituna River with Rotorua Rafting. This experience has been voted #2 in the world, #1 in New Zealand, and #1 in the South Pacific.
AGE INFORMATION
- Adult: 13 years +
- Seniors: 65 years +
- Children: 5-12 years
- Minimum Age: 5 years
Those up to 15 years of age have to be accompanied by a guardian over 18 years old.
Rafting Age limit: 10 years
10 - 12 years half river trip (Grade 3 section) , 13 years and over full river trip (must fit safety equipment).
