Milford, Routeburn, Kepler and Hollyford Track Options
Ancient rainforest, glacial valleys, alpine ridges and remote coastlines make Fiordland one of New Zealand’s leading walking destinations. The Milford, Routeburn and Kepler Tracks are official Great Walks, while the Hollyford Track offers a lower-altitude journey through the Hollyford Valley towards the Tasman coast.
Walking options range from short guided hikes and individual track sections to multi-day hut walks and premium lodge-based journeys. Te Anau is the main gateway to the Milford and Kepler Tracks, while Queenstown, Glenorchy and the Milford Road provide access to Routeburn and Hollyford experiences.
