Stay at Beachfront Eco Lodges
Your first night is spent at Meadowbank Homestead, a faithful recreation of the Wilson family’s original home set beside the stunning Awaroa Inlet. After your forest-to-beach walk from Tōtaranui, you’ll arrive to a warm welcome, a delicious dinner, and an ensuite room with views of the tidal estuary. The lodge’s charm and history add a personal touch to this remote escape in the heart of the national park.
Torrent Bay Lodge is your home for night two, tucked amongst a beachfront village and just steps from the sea. Here, you’ll unwind after a day on the water with a hot shower, local food, and time to relax in your private room. Both lodges offer all the comforts you need while staying immersed in nature, making this journey feel like a proper retreat rather than just a trek.
