Take Your Time: Add an Extra Night in Mapua or Kaiteriteri
For families wanting to slow down and enjoy some extra fun off the bike, adding an extra night in Mapua or Kaiteriteri is a great idea. In Mapua, kids can jump off the wharf at high tide, enjoy an ice cream by the waterfront, or explore the shops and galleries while parents relax at a café. Staying an extra night gives your family time to take a short trip to nearby Upper Moutere, where kids can roam vineyards while grown-ups sample local food and wine.
In Kaiteriteri, an extra night means more time for beach games, swimming, or heading into Abel Tasman National Park for a gentle walk or boat cruise. Families can also enjoy kayaking, paddleboarding, or just relaxing at one of New Zealand’s sunniest beaches. - More than 30 days prior to departure you get a 90% refund of the total amount*
- Between 30 days and 14 days prior to departure you get a 50% refund of the total amount*
- Less than 14 days prior to departure you receive no refund
- Once the trip has started: Ne refund
Refund excludes any unretrievable costs like accommodation if applicable.
