How Can You Personalise Your Auckland Must-Do Escape?
Choose alternatives that match your interests and preferred pace. Replace the Hobbiton day with a Hobbiton and Waitomo combination, a Bay of Islands cruise excursion or a Coromandel coastal tour. Your Auckland day can instead feature rainforest and black-sand beaches, city sightseeing or ferry travel and wine tasting on Waiheke Island.
For Rotorua, choose a different combination of geothermal sightseeing, hot pools or forest experiences. The Wai-O-Tapu and Polynesian Spa or Secret Spot alternatives replace the Te Puia visit; the listed Redwoods Treewalk and Secret Spot combination changes the wider Rotorua programme. Alternatives replace an included tour, while optional activities add to the itinerary. We’ll confirm the final inclusions, timing and any price difference in your quote.
The package includes four nights in central Auckland, return airport transfers, two guided day trips and a two-hour harbour sailing experience. Lunch is included on the Hobbiton and Rotorua days.

- Return transfers between Auckland Airport’s International or Domestic Terminal and your accommodation.
- Hobbiton Express with Party Marquee Lunch with Bush and Beach, including return Auckland transport, the guided movie-set tour, a Hobbit Hole interior visit, buffet lunch and a Green Dragon drink.
- America’s Cup Sailing Experience with Explore, including two hours aboard a racing yacht and the option to help the crew.
- Rotorua Highlights with Wai-O-Tapu, Te Puia & Lunch with Cheeky Kiwi Travel, including return Auckland transport, Wai-O-Tapu admission, a guided Te Puia visit and lunch.
