Itinerary

Franz Josef – Your journey begins in the picturesque village of Franz Josef. From here, we head south along the coast on a fully guided adventure towards Queenstown.
Lake Matheson (60 min) – A must-see for photographers, Lake Matheson offers stunning reflections of Mt Cook on calm days. This easy bushwalk will reward you with breathtaking views of the Southern Alps.
Bruce Bay (10 min) – Witness the striking contrast of thick native rainforest meeting the open ocean of the Tasman Sea. This beautiful beach is a true West Coast gem.
Ship Creek (30 min) – Explore Ship Creek, where the ancient rainforest meets the ocean. Feel the sand beneath your feet and listen to the crashing waves of the Tasman Sea. A 1km walking track allows you to explore the dunes.
Hard Antler, Haast (45 min) – Enjoy a 45-minute lunch break at the Hard Antler, a popular stop in Haast.
Thunder Creek Falls (20 min) – A short 5-minute walk brings you to the impressive Thunder Creek Falls. This 28-metre waterfall, once part of a glacier, cascades into the Haast River below.
Blue Pools – The Blue Pools, located in Mt Aspiring National Park, are known for their stunning blue waters, a popular stop for many visitors.
Lake Hawea (10 min) – After leaving the national park, we make a quick stop to capture the beautiful views at a lookout between Lake Wanaka and Lake Hawea.
Wanaka (15 min) – Stretch your legs and take a short walk down to the lakeside for an iconic photo of the Wanaka Tree. This scenic spot, framed by Mt Aspiring and the Southern Alps, is not to be missed.
Cardrona Hotel (10 min) – We make a brief stop at the historic Cardrona Hotel, one of New Zealand's oldest and most iconic hotels. Its rustic charm and mountain setting make it a Central Otago highlight.
Queenstown – Your tour concludes in the stunning town of Queenstown. As we enter the town, your guide will point out key sights and local highlights before dropping you off at your central Queenstown accommodation.
