Cruising from Kaiteriteri, you’ll be treated to sweeping views of golden beaches and turquoise waters that make Abel Tasman National Park world famous. The journey takes you past tranquil coves, hidden inlets, and vibrant coastal forests alive with birdlife. Every turn of the coastline reveals another postcard-perfect scene waiting to be photographed.

One highlight of the cruise is Split Apple Rock, the most photographed rock in New Zealand, where you can capture its striking formation up close. Fur seals, or Kekeno, are often seen basking on the rocks or diving playfully in the sea, adding to the magic of the day. With commentary from your guide, you’ll gain insights into the history and wildlife of this extraordinary region.

Anchorage, Bark Bay, and Medlands Beach showcase the park’s trademark golden sands and crystal-clear waters, each with its own character and beauty. You’ll glide past the Astrolabe Roadstead, a scenic stretch dotted with islands and rich with marine life. The vivid colours of the water against lush forested backdrops are an unforgettable sight.

Further north, Totaranui offers a sweeping beach framed by dramatic headlands, a fitting highlight before the return cruise to Kaiteriteri. The journey provides the perfect balance of relaxation and discovery, with endless photo opportunities along the way. Whether it’s the seals, the beaches, or the serene waters, every moment adds to the story of Abel Tasman’s natural wonder.
