Explore the Wild Beauty of the Kapiti Coast in Half a Day

Take a break from the city and enjoy the natural wonder of the Kapiti Coast on a relaxed, private half day tour. You’ll head north on State Highway 1 to Pukerua Bay, where the coastline stretches endlessly before you. From there, the drive up Paekākāriki Hill reveals breathtaking views of Kapiti Island and, on a clear day, even Mt Taranaki and Mt Ruapehu.

History buffs will love the stop at Camp McKay, where stories of the US Marines stationed during WWII come to life. Nature lovers are treated to a visit at Ngā Manu Nature Reserve, home to native birds, tuataras, and possibly even a glimpse of a kiwi. The tour wraps up with a peaceful drive through local beach towns and a relaxing café stop, capturing the heart and soul of the Kapiti Coast.
