Itinerary

Your Day Starts in Queenstown

The day kicks off with a relaxed pick-up from your Queenstown accommodation or nearby. Settle into your premium Mercedes Sprinter as you journey through Southland’s rural landscapes and into Fiordland, passing through Te Anau for a short refreshment break by the lake.

Into the Heart of Fiordland

As you enter Fiordland National Park, the landscape becomes dramatically wild – home to ancient beech forests, crystal-clear rivers, and the iconic Kea, New Zealand’s cheeky alpine parrot. Your guide will make plenty of photo stops and share engaging local stories along the way, offering a deeper understanding of this stunning UNESCO World Heritage site.

Nature Cruise in Milford Sound

Arriving in Milford Sound, board a small nature cruise operated by Cruise Milford. Over 1 hour 45 minutes, you’ll glide beneath towering cliffs, past cascading waterfalls and through waters that may host dolphins, seals, penguins and native birdlife – all with a knowledgeable onboard guide to bring the fiord to life.

Helicopter Flight Back to Queenstown

After your cruise, meet your pilot and prepare for an epic return to Queenstown by helicopter. This 45-minute scenic flight showcases the beauty of Fiordland from above – snow-dusted peaks, glacial valleys, braided rivers and more. As a special highlight, you'll land high in the mountains for a remote alpine snow landing before descending into Queenstown.
