Travel through the open landscapes of the Canterbury Plains before reaching Longhill Station, a 9000-acre working farm nestled in the foothills of the Southern Alps. Warm hospitality, homemade scones, and a demonstration of sheep herding bring the heart of rural New Zealand to life. The farm tour offers insight into daily life on the land, with time to relax, ask questions and admire the natural surroundings.

Later, continue west to Arthurs Pass National Park, where dramatic alpine scenery unfolds with every turn. Depending on the weather and group preferences, your guide will choose scenic walking tracks through beech forests and along crystal-clear rivers. From mountain viewpoints to quiet moments in nature, this tour blends authentic local connection with breathtaking South Island landscapes.

  • 8 days or more before departure: Full refund**
  • Between 7 days and 48 hours: 50% refund**
  • Within 48 hours: No refund
  • Shore Excursions: In the event of a tour cancellation due to unsuitable sea or weather conditions, a partial refund may be issued.
