The day begins with a private pick-up from your Auckland hotel, airport or cruise port, followed by a scenic drive south through the Waikato Region. The first stop is the Waitomo Glowworm Caves, where a guided underground experience reveals limestone formations illuminated by thousands of glow worms.
The journey then continues to Te Puia, a living Māori village set within an active geothermal valley. Highlights include steaming vents, bubbling mud pools and the powerful Pōhutu Geyser, alongside Māori carving and weaving demonstrations, before a private evening drop-off in Rotorua.
