Itinerary

1. Wānaka
Begin with a lakeside walk to capture the famous Wānaka Tree, one of New Zealand’s most photographed natural icons. With Mt Aspiring and the Southern Alps as your backdrop, it’s a perfect setting to take in the calm beauty of this alpine town.

2. Cardrona Hotel (approx. 10 minutes)
Travel through the scenic Cardrona Valley to visit the Cardrona Hotel, a historic landmark rich in gold rush history. Its rustic façade and alpine surroundings offer a brief but memorable stop.

3. Crown Range Lookout (approx. 10 minutes)
Continue over the Crown Range, New Zealand’s highest sealed road, stopping at the lookout for sweeping views of Queenstown and its mountainous surrounds. This stop is weather-dependent and may be adjusted on the day.

4. Queenstown
On arrival in Queenstown, your guide will point out local favourites and hidden gems before dropping you at your accommodation.
