The journey ends with a landing at a location accessible only by helicopter. Stepping out, you’re greeted with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean on one side and the Kaikōura Ranges on the other. This secluded setting provides the perfect finale before returning to the Kaikōura Airport.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Maximum passenger weight per seat is 125kg.
• Weather and minimum passenger numbers influence flight availability.
• Tour starts and ends at Kaikōura Airport. Transport from within the Kaikoura township is available free of charge and must be arranged 24 hours prior to you booking.
• Minimum numbers are required for flight to operate
• In compliance with Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations, all passengers will be weighed during check-in for our flights. To ensure proper weight and balance of the aircraft, passengers may be reassigned to different flights.

AGE INFORMATION

• Children (under 12 years): Must be accompanied by an adult. Ear protection and life jackets are provided at check-in.
• Infants (under 2 years): Travel free if seated on an adult's lap and under 18kg. Some aircraft allow only one infant per trip.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

• More than 48 hours before departure: Full refund**
• Between 24-48 hours before departure: 50% cancellation fee**
• Within 24 hours: No refund
• Whale sightings are not guaranteed as they are wild animals. No refunds for completed flights, but we offer discounts on a second tour—ask our team!
