Is Wētā Workshop in Wellington the Same as Wētā Workshop Unleashed in Auckland?

They are different experiences. Wellington’s Wētā Workshop Experiences explores the company’s filmmaking history and work on productions including The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Auckland’s Unleashed centres on three original movie concepts spanning fantasy, science fiction and horror.

For visitors especially interested in the trilogies, explore a Wellington tour including Wētā Workshop. Unleashed offers another way to discover practical movie effects while staying in Auckland.
