Distinction Rotorua Hotel – Relax Between Family Adventures
Set in gardens beside Whakarewarewa Forest, Distinction Rotorua Hotel gives families somewhere comfortable to recharge between outings. Enjoy the heated outdoor swimming pool, complimentary WiFi and free guest parking. Secure bike storage and wash-down facilities are useful for families adding mountain biking to their holiday.
Superior Rooms – Two Queen Beds
Superior Rooms accommodate up to four guests in two queen beds. Air conditioning, a mini-fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary WiFi and a television provide the essentials for your stay. The ensuite bathroom has a shower over the bath.
Many rooms also have balconies with garden, pool, forest or golf course views, subject to room allocation.

Use your rental car to explore Rotorua’s geothermal attractions, lakes and Māori cultural experiences, then return for a swim or an easy evening meal. Onsite dining options include Mr Yakitori and D Bar & Restaurant. Hotel meals are additional unless specified in your package quote.
Bella Vista Rotorua Motel Accommodation
Bella Vista Rotorua Motel offers a practical base for your family holiday, with free onsite parking, a guest laundry and an outdoor barbecue area. Portacots and highchairs are available on request.
Superior Studios
Superior Studios accommodate up to two guests in a king or queen bed. Facilities include a microwave kitchenette, tea and coffee making facilities, an ensuite bathroom and complimentary WiFi.
One-Bedroom Units – Space for a Family of Four
One-bedroom units sleep up to four guests, with two single beds in a separate bedroom and a queen bed in the main living area. A full kitchen and dining area make family meals easy.
Each unit also includes air conditioning, complimentary WiFi, Sky TV and a bathroom with a single spa bath and separate shower. Ground-floor and upstairs units are available.
Discover Rotorua from Bella Vista Rotorua Motel
Stay opposite Kuirau Park, where steaming geothermal features and walking paths offer an easy outing between booked activities. The motel is also convenient for Rotorua’s shops, cafés and lakefront.
Deposit and Final Payment
A deposit of NZ$150 per person is payable at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 45 days before travel.
Cancellation Charges
The following minimum cancellation charges apply, together with any additional charges imposed by individual suppliers:
- 45 days or more before travel: Full loss of deposit.
- 8–44 days before travel: 50% cancellation fee.
- 0–7 days before travel: 100% cancellation fee.
No refund is available once travel has commenced. Individual suppliers cannot authorise refunds on behalf of Go New Zealand. Any refund is at Go New Zealand’s discretion.
Any additional refund approved under our terms and conditions is subject to a 5% administration and processing fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount. For further information on refunds and cancellations, please see Go New Zealand’s terms and conditions.
