Children must be at least 5 years old to use the hot tubs. Younger children are welcome at the venue but cannot enter the tubs. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult throughout their visit.

Suggested Stop – Blue Spring at Te Waihou Walkway

Discover the Blue Spring’s clear blue-green water and riverside scenery, choosing an approach to suit your available time:

• Shorter approach — Leslie Road: Walk from the Leslie Road carpark to the nearby Blue Spring viewing area, then return the same way. This approach is approximately 800 m each way, taking around 15 minutes each way, or 30 minutes return. Allow 45–60 minutes overall for a relaxed visit with time to enjoy the views and take photographs.
• Longer approach — Whites Road: Follow Te Waihou Walkway beside the Waihou River through farmland and native scenery. Allow approximately 1½ hours each way, or 3 hours return.

Allow additional time for the driving detour, parking and your chosen walk, particularly when connecting with a flight from Auckland.
