Conservation and Connection at the National Kiwi Centre
The National Kiwi Centre isn’t just about viewing wildlife—it’s about protecting it. The team is deeply committed to conservation and runs breeding and education programmes to support the survival of endangered species. Each visit helps fund efforts to ensure these taonga species thrive for generations to come.
Through its hands-on exhibits and family-friendly approach, the centre fosters a real sense of connection to the land and its creatures. Guests walk away not only entertained but also inspired by the stories of New Zealand’s native wildlife. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, it’s a must-see stop on your West Coast adventure.
