Cycling Through Bannockburn Wine Country
The ride begins in Cromwell and follows quiet roads and cycle-friendly routes into Bannockburn. Along the way, you’ll journey through classic Central Otago landscapes and have the opportunity to visit some of the region’s most respected wineries, known for their cool-climate wines.
Wine tastings can be enjoyed at a range of cellar doors including Mt Difficulty Wines, Dicey Tasting Room, Akarua Winery & Cellar Door, Te Kano, Terra Sancta, Carrick Cellar Door & Garden, and Misha’s Vineyard and Wild Earth. A highlight of the day is an exclusive cabana experience at Carrick Winery, offering a relaxed setting to enjoy food, wine and vineyard views before cycling back to Cromwell.

Departure
- Check-in at 10:00am for bike fitting and tour briefing
- Departs at 10:30am from Cromwell
Return
- Return to Cromwell by bike by approximately 4:30pm
- Cancellations 72+ hours before departure: Full refund*
- Between 72 - 24 hours: Refund* less $100 per person cancellation fee
- Within 24 hours / no-show: 100% cancellation fee.
