Duration: 1 day
Travel Time: 8 hours
Minimum Age: 18

The Bay of Islands 2 Reef Dive Trip is a full-day experience for certified scuba divers, with two reef dives amongst the diverse marine environments of Northland. Departing from Paihia at 8:30 am, the day includes two dives, time for lunch between dives and a scenic boat journey through the Bay of Islands.

Two Reef Dives in the Bay of Islands

Check in at the Paihia dive shop from 7:45 am to organise your equipment and paperwork before boarding the boat for an 8:30 am departure. Cruise through the islands towards the day's dive sites, with dolphins, penguins, seals and marine birdlife sometimes spotted along the way.

Your two reef dives are selected according to the day's conditions and diving requirements. Between dives, relax aboard the boat, have lunch and enjoy time for snorkelling before heading to the second site. After diving, cruise back through the Bay of Islands, normally arriving at Paihia Wharf at around 3:30 pm.
