What are the highlights of the Great Taste Beer Cycle Tour?

What is included in the Great Taste Beer Cycle Tour?
The tour includes:
- Standard bike hire
- Self-guided cycling route
- Route briefing and navigation information
- Beer tasting at Eddyline
- Beer tasting at The Free House
- Bike collection at the end of the ride
- Return shuttle
- E-bike upgrade available at additional cost
Additional drinks, meals and purchases at breweries or bars are not included unless specifically stated.
The route covers approximately 30 km and is rated Difficulty 2, with much of the riding on flat or easy off-road cycle trails.
This is a self-guided tour, so you ride independently between venues rather than following a guide.
Participants must be 18 years or older because the experience includes alcohol tastings. Bring photo identification if required by licensed venues.
The day combines alcohol and cycling, so ride responsibly, pace your tastings and allow plenty of time between stops. Additional drinks beyond the included tastings are optional.
The bikes are collected at the end of the afternoon, and a shuttle is provided afterwards. You can also choose to remain in central Nelson instead.
