Minimum Hire Period: The minimum hire duration is 2 hours, but bikes can be returned earlier if needed.
Hire Duration Guide:
- 2 Hours: Great for exploring Pencarrow Head’s lighthouses and lakes while enjoying scenic views.
- 4 Hours: Ideal for venturing further to Fitzroy Bay, side tracks, or the SS Paiaka Wreck, with time for a picnic.
- 8 Hours: Perfect for a full-day adventure, allowing you to visit Eastbourne’s cafes and galleries and explore the entire coastline.
Battery Life: All eBikes come with extra-large batteries, ideal for covering extensive trails.
Optional Extras: Add-ons like kids’ seats, trailers, gel seat covers, and bike insurance are available during the booking process.

Frequently asked questions

The main coast trail is flat from Wildfinder Pencarrow to Baring Head. However, accessing the top Pencarrow Lighthouse, lakes, or Baring Head involves some hills.

It’s approximately 7km to the bottom Pencarrow Lighthouse, taking about 45 minutes on a Comfort Mountain Bike, and about 20 minutes on an eBike.

A form of ID (driver’s license, passport), payment method (cash, EFTPOS, or credit card), and optionally a camera and extra food and water.

Closed shoes (e.g., sneakers), shorts or tight-fitting pants, a t-shirt for riding, a fleece or light jacket for resting, and waterproofs in case of rain.
