- Multiple pick-up and drop-off stops along the route
Not included:
- Wine tastings

- Lunch or other meals
- Winery or brewery tours
- Optional activities
- Personal purchases
Tastings, food and other venue charges are paid directly to the businesses you choose to visit.
This is a self-guided experience, rather than a hosted wine tour. You choose the venues, manage your own timing and use the bus timetable to move between stops.
The full-day format is best for travellers who want more flexibility than the afternoon pass. Around 4–5 venues is realistic, depending on the length of your tastings and whether you stop for lunch.
Guests must be 18 or over to consume alcohol and should carry suitable photo identification.
The buses cannot accommodate wheelchairs, large prams, backpacks or luggage.
- Pre-book popular cellar doors: Many Marlborough wineries require or recommend advance reservations, especially on weekends.
- Book lunch ahead: A full-day pass gives you time for a proper meal, but popular winery restaurants can fill quickly.
- Groups of 8 or more: Contact us in advance and advise which wineries you have booked so transport can be coordinated.
- Arrive early: Be at the Blenheim pick-up point at least 5 minutes before departure. On the day, you'll receive a wristband and a map of the stops and route, along with the allocated timetable. Use the wristband to access hop on hop off specials at selected venues.
- No alcohol onboard: Drinks purchased at venues cannot be consumed on the bus.
- Allow for delays: Traffic, venue timing and late passengers can affect the timetable.
- Venue costs are extra: Tastings, tours, food and other experiences are paid directly to each business.
- Cruise days operate differently: On some cruise-ship days, the operator uses a separate Marlborough cruise timetable rather than the standard full-day schedule.
- Buses returning to Picton depart at 5:30pm from Blenheim i-SITE.
- Adults rate: 14 years +
- Children rate: 0-13 years
- Drinking age: 18 years + (Drink only if you're of legal age. Bring ID to prove it if asked)
- More than 14 days before departure: Full refund**.
- Within 14 days: No refund
Note: **Any refund approved under our terms and conditions will be subject to a 5% admin & processing fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount. Please see more information on refunds and cancellations in Go New Zealand's terms and conditions.
