From Queenstown to the Nevis Playground
Your Nevis adventure starts at the Queenstown Bungy Centre, where you’ll board the 4WD Bungy Bus for the journey into the remote Nevis Valley. The route follows a rugged private gravel road, offering a scenic introduction to the secluded landscape and making the journey itself part of the experience.
The Nevis Playground is also designed for groups, so friends and family can enjoy the experience together even if everyone isn’t taking part. While the Nevis Swing is the main attraction, the site is also home to other iconic Queenstown adventure experiences, making it a great addition to a day of exploring the Nevis Valley. Spectators are welcome to travel on the Bungy Bus and enjoy the Nevis Pod and surrounding viewing areas without taking part in the activities.

- Spectators under 7 cannot travel on the shuttle, and children under 10 must be supervised.
- Spectator fee: NZ$50 per person.
- Minimum age: 10 years.
- Participants under 15 require adult consent at check-in and are recommended to be accompanied by an adult.
- Weight requirement: Single weight between 35 kg and 160 kg. Tandem max weight: 220 kg.
- Allow approximately 4 hours for the full trip when departing from the Queenstown Bungy Centre.
- Participants with certain medical conditions should check the medical requirements before booking.
- Prescription safety glasses are available free of charge if required.
The Nevis Playground is on private land in the Nevis Valley and can only be reached using official company transport.
Bungy Transport
- The Bungy Bus departs from the Queenstown Bungy Centre at the corner of Shotover Street and Camp Street.
- Check in: 30 minutes before your scheduled bus departure.
- A pick-up from the Kawarau Bungy Centre on Gibbston Highway may be available on request.
- Allow: Approximately 4 hours from central Queenstown.
