Step back in time on a two-day adventure from Stratford to Taumarunui, travelling the full 142 kilometres of the Forgotten World railway. Along the way, you’ll pass through 24 tunnels, cross 98 bridges, and uncover stories of early settlements now reclaimed by nature. This remarkable journey allows you to disconnect from the everyday while immersing yourself in the pioneering history of New Zealand.

The experience includes a memorable overnight stay in the Republic of Whangamomona, with dinner, breakfast, and the chance to soak up the unique character of this remote community.
