Who Is the Three Gorges Cycling Tour Suitable For?
This three-day cycling holiday suits active couples, groups of friends and independent travellers who want to explore Queenstown and Central Otago by eBike.
It's particularly appealing to cyclists who enjoy longer rides, changing landscapes and visits to local wineries. You'll experience three different trail networks, with premium eBikes to assist on climbs and luggage transfers arranged between your overnight stops.
Previous cycling experience is important. The Kawarau Gorge and Lake Dunstan Trails include intermediate sections, while the optional Hugo Tunnel section of the Shotover Gorge Trail is graded advanced.
The tour is less suitable for complete beginners, riders uncomfortable with narrow or exposed trails, or anyone unable to manage approximately four hours of cycling each day.
