CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS/TRANSFERS
If you wish to cancel your tour, please notify us in writing. The date of cancellation will be the date we receive your written cancellation and will effect be subject to:
- More than 70 days before departure: loss of deposit*
- 70–30 days before departure: 50% refund*
- Less than 30 days before departure: no refund
- No-show for any reason: no refund

- Optional Extras: E-bike rental available for an additional cost. Gel seat covers also available.
- Group Size: Minimum group size may apply.

- Preparation: Be prepared for varying weather conditions and bring appropriate clothing and gear.
- Hydration and Sun Protection: Carry water, sunscreen, and insect repellent to ensure comfort throughout your ride.
We have handpicked our accommodation to provide you with quality and variety. Due to the limited accommodation on the trail, there are evenings where there are shared bathrooms as it is not possible to provide en-suite facilities with groups of 8 or more all the way. At the time of booking, you will be informed of any changes to the accommodation listed below.
- Braemar High Country Station – Shared bathroom facilities
- Twizel – Motel or Lodge en-suite
- Ohau – En-suite rooms at Lake Ohau Lodge
- Omarama – Motel en-suite
- Otematata – Private luxury holiday home part en-suite/shared bathroom
- Kurow – Bed and breakfast en-suite
- Tokarahi huts – with en-suite/ own bathrooms
You can choose between an e-bike or mountain bike. However, please only choose a non-electric bike if you are an expert rider with a VERY high fitness level and regularly ride over 50km per day on gravel. The trail is much more challenging to ride on a non-electric bike. Many of our guests who choose a non-electric bike end up regretting their decision. We generally encourage everyone to select an e-bike. You can always choose to dial back the level of support on an e-bike if you want more of a workout.
