A Scenic Ride Through Poolburn Gorge
One of the standout features of this section is Poolburn Gorge, where a 37-metre-high viaduct and two impressive tunnels create a dramatic passage through the landscape. Secluded gorge sections and wide open valleys offer frequent photo opportunities and quiet places to pause.
Along the way, the trail passes through the welcoming settlements of Lauder, Omakau and Chatto Creek. Local cafés and hotels provide a taste of famous Southern hospitality before the ride finishes in Clyde, where the return shuttle awaits.

- Shuttle pick-up from Clyde at 4:00pm
- Return to Cromwell by approximately 4:30pm

- Cancellations 72+ hours before departure: Full refund*
- Between 72 - 24 hours: Refund* less $100 per person cancellation fee
- Within 24 hours / no-show: 100% cancellation fee.
