A Summer Favourite for Experienced Riders
This experience is particularly well-suited to riders seeking something more special than the average trail ride. Swimming alongside your horse in a quiet, natural bay is both invigorating and unforgettable. With the guidance of experienced hosts, safety and support are always top priorities.
The route itself winds through native bush and open tracks before descending to the beach, making the ride as scenic as the destination. Whether you're an experienced rider or a confident beginner ready for your next challenge, the Calm Bay Ocean Swim is a summer adventure like no other.
Duration: 2.5 hours / Not fast-paced
Seasonal: December - April only
- Subject to suitable beach conditions for swimming
Weight limit: 85kg - limited availability at this weight
INCLUSIONS
- We will provide helmets.
- We will help you feel comfortable with your gear and horse.
- These rides require a minimum of 2 people.
NEED TO BRING
- Please wear long trousers and closed shoes.
- Bring sun protection.
- Bring a swimming costume and a small towel.
- If it's a windy day, don't forget to bring a jacket.
AGE INFORMATION
- Adult: 18 years +
- Children: 13-17 years (for all advanced rides)
CANCELLATION & REFUND
Trail Rides:
- More than 2 weeks before – 80% refund**
- 1-2 weeks before – 50% refund**
- Less than 48 hours – No refund
Weather Cancellations:
- Rescheduling or alternative routes are provided in moderate weather. Full refund only if rescheduling is impossible due to very bad weather.
