Kapiti Coast Private Day Tour

1.We'll pick you up from wherever you are in Wellington at 9.30am and head north, making a stop at Pukerua Bay to take in the stunning views of Kapiti Island and the coastline.

2.We'll take a detour at Raumati to follow the coast up to Paraparaumu Beach, where we'll pause briefly to enjoy the sea breeze.

3.Our next stop is the internationally renowned Southward Car Museum, followed by a delicious lunch at the much-loved Long Beach Cafe in Waikanae Beach.

4.After lunch, we'll visit Nga Manu Reserve, where you'll have the chance for a hands-on experience with nature. You can see New Zealand’s rare Brown Kiwi in the nocturnal house, meet native birds in walk-through aviaries, and even watch or join in feeding endangered long-fin eels. Keep an eye out for native geckos and get up close to the ancient tuatara.

5.As we continue our journey northward, you'll have the option to either shop in the quiet township of Otaki or visit a restored Maori church. If you're up for it, we can even head further north to the Deer Museum in Manukau.

6.On our way back to Wellington, we'll make a stop in Paraparaumu, where you can choose between visiting the Tuatara Beer factory tasting room or enjoying a coffee at a local cafe.

7.We'll drop you off back in Wellington at 4.30pm.
