Get ready for a flavour-packed day starting in historic Petone, where your foodie journey begins with a hands-on coffee roasting and tasting at Ripe Coffee Roasters. The tour continues with rich samples at Zany Zeus, famous for their handmade cheeses, velvety yoghurts, and organic ice creams. Chocolate lovers are in for a treat too, with an indulgent tasting and chocolate-making session at The Chocolate Story.
Lunchtime brings a touch of Italy at La Bella Italia, where you’ll enjoy authentic flavours like cured meats, pizza bread, and matching Italian wines. After a scenic drive to Lyall Bay, unwind at Parrot Dog Brewery with a selection of craft beers in a relaxed seaside setting. By 4.30pm, we’ll return you to your Wellington location, with your taste buds tingling and your foodie cravings fully satisfied.

1.We'll pick you up at 9.30am and head to the historic town of Petone at the northern tip of Wellington harbour.
2.Our first stop is Ripe, a speciality coffee roasters on the Petone waterfront. Here, you'll learn about its intriguing history and the journey of coffee from plant to cup. You'll even take part in a coffee roast and enjoy tasting the freshly brewed product.
3.Next, we'll visit Zany Zeus dairy and cheese factory, where you'll have the chance to sample a variety of cheeses, yogurts, and organic ice creams.
4.Following that, we'll stop by The Chocolate Story. You'll meet the resident chocolatier for a tasting session and a lesson in chocolate making.
5.Lunch will be served at La Bella Italia in Petone, our very own slice of Italy. You'll get to taste a selection of cured meats accompanied by pizza bread and a glass of Italian wine.
6.After lunch, we'll head east along the coastline to Parrot Dog Brewery, nestled in the charming seaside suburb of Lyall Bay. Here, you'll have the opportunity to sample their range of award-winning craft beers and learn some tips from the experts.
7.We'll drop you back, well-fed and refreshed, to your chosen spot in Wellington at 4.30pm.
