Full Day vs Afternoon Tour – What’s the Difference?
The Full Day Tour (6–7 hours) departs at 10:30am or 11:20am and allows time to visit approximately 4–6 venues. Many guests include a lunch booking and may also spend time in historic Arrowtown. This option suits those wanting a longer, more unhurried experience.
The Afternoon Tour (4–5 hours) departs at 12:10pm and follows the same route within a shorter timeframe. Guests typically visit 3–4 venues, often combining wine tastings with a brewery stop or light meal. Both tours include hop on hop off transport and access to the same participating venues.
- Group Bookings: Groups of 8 or more must notify us in advance. Please let us know if you're planning to travel with a large group.
- Bookings at Stops: We highly recommend pre-booking lunch and wine tastings to ensure a smoother experience. Bookings are not required for breweries, pubs, or taverns.
- Large Groups or Special Occasions: Contact us directly for arrangements involving larger groups or special events.
- Duty of Care: We follow strict safety protocols. Disruptive or intoxicated passengers may be removed from the tour without refund.
- No Alcohol Onboard: Drinking alcohol is not permitted on the bus.
- Cleaning Fee: A $250 cleaning fee will apply if a passenger soils the bus. This is non-negotiable.
- Pack Smart: Please bring enough food and water for your day.
- Be on Time: Be at your pickup point at least 5 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
- Delays: We are not responsible for delays due to traffic or if you're late to your pickup.
- Winery Drop-Offs: We recommend no more than 3–4 couples disembark at each winery. Smaller groups make for a better experience. You can catch the next bus if you wish to space out your visits.
- Extra Tour Costs: Some wineries or breweries may charge tasting or tour fees separately. These are not included in your ticket price.
- Booking Options: Bookings can be made online or through participating visitor centres.
- Adults: 14 years +
- Drinking age: 18 years + (Drink only if you're of legal age. Bring ID to prove it if asked)
- Children: 0-13 years
- More than 14 days before departure: Full refund**.
- Within 14 days: No refund
