Frequently asked questions

EcoZip’s included Waiheke Island Ziplining & Forest Walk has no fixed minimum age, but every participant must weigh between 30 and 125 kg and be able to complete the forest walk. A parent or authorised guardian must agree to the booking terms and sign the risk disclosure for participants under 18 years. Tell us your children’s ages and confirm suitability before booking.

A moderate level of fitness is recommended, as the experience includes a short guided walk through native forest. The ziplining itself is suitable for most people. Full safety briefings are provided before you begin.

Outdoor activities, including the Tīkapa Moana wildlife cruise, ferry crossings and ziplining, depend on conditions and may be delayed, changed or cancelled. EcoZip often operates in rain, while strong winds or other unsafe conditions can affect departures. Wētā Workshop Unleashed is indoors. Follow the operator’s check-in instructions and ask how rescheduling, alternative experiences and any applicable refunds would be handled under your booking terms.
