A Perfect Blend of Nature and Wine

This guided 5-hour walk is the perfect way to see the best of Waiheke’s landscapes. You’ll explore regenerating bushland, stroll across headlands with sweeping views, and discover quiet beaches along the way. Keep an eye out for seabirds, native plants, and even the chance to spot dolphins or orcas offshore.

The walk also takes you through Atawhai Whenua Forest and Bird Reserve and Pio Rehutai Reserve, where conservation efforts are restoring native ecosystems. As you wander, your guide will share stories about the history and ecology of Waiheke Island and the wider Hauraki Gulf. It’s a wonderful balance of fresh air, nature, and cultural insights.

Wine Tasting at World Class Vineyards

No Waiheke adventure would be complete without visiting its famous vineyards, and this walk leads you to two of the island’s finest. At Mudbrick Vineyard and Cable Bay Vineyards, you’ll savour award-winning wines and enjoy time to relax with your group. If wine isn’t your style, there are also coffee and snack options available.

The small group setting ensures a personal and engaging experience. Your guide will highlight unique features of the environment and give you time to enjoy the island’s relaxed pace. Between the rolling hills, lush bush, and world-class wine, this walk is a true taste of Waiheke’s best.
