Meet at the Mitre Peak Cruise counter in the Main Visitors Terminal at Fresh Water Basin, Milford Sound, at 8.30 am.

WHAT TO BRING
Comfortable walking shoes, warm synthetic or wool top, waterproof jacket, hat, gloves, insect repellent, snack food, camera, and optional lunch or pre-ordered packed lunch. Jeans and street wear are not suitable.

- The hike covers an 11 km return journey with a 50-metre vertical gain, at a pace of around 3 km per hour.
