Wellington Half-Day City Bike Hire gives you up to four hours to explore the capital independently on a non-electric bike. Choose a standard or step-through city bike and ride from the Wellington Waterfront towards Miramar Peninsula or Lyall Bay, with a helmet, bike lock, cycling map and pre-ride briefing included.

The team can recommend a half-day route based on what you'd like to see, and there's a large car-free area where you can get comfortable with your bike before setting off.
