Cycling through history and nature

This 6 day adventure along the Remutaka Cycle Trail takes you through a mix of natural beauty and fascinating heritage. You’ll ride forested paths, historic railway tunnels, and farmland that stretches towards the sea. Each section offers something different, keeping every day fresh and rewarding.

The trail is designed for comfort as well as discovery, with daily support, luggage transfers, and cosy accommodation included. Whether on a mountain bike or eBike, you’ll have time to enjoy the sights rather than rush past them. From trout streams to native birds, the journey is as rich in wildlife as it is in views.

The Charm of Martinborough

Spending two nights in Martinborough gives this trip a special touch, with time to explore one of New Zealand’s most celebrated wine regions. Between rides, you can wander through boutique shops, sip award-winning wines, or relax in the peaceful countryside. It’s a welcome balance of activity and indulgence.

Beyond the vineyards, Martinborough’s friendly atmosphere and local flavours add depth to your cycling experience. It’s not just about the ride, but also about connecting with the people and culture of the Wairarapa. By the time you continue the trail, you’ll be refreshed and inspired to take on the next stage.
