A two-hour ride takes you to Summitโ€™s iconic tunnels and swing bridge, while four hours allows for a relaxed picnic or reaching Cross Creek. With six hours, thereโ€™s ample time to explore the entire trail, swim, and delve into the rich history through the information boards. Bikes, helmets, tunnel lights, and repair kits are all included for a hassle-free day out.

INCLUSIONS

  • Bike and Gear: Modern mountain bike with gel saddle, front suspension, and ergonomic grips; helmet; and a repair kit (spare tube, pump, and tyre levers).
  • Storage and Safety: Carrier rack and pannier bag for personal items, plus lights for navigating the tunnels.

    • 2 hours: Reach Summit, explore the tunnels and swing bridge, then return to Kaitoke.

  • Hutt River Trail: Generally good.
  • Remutaka Incline Trail: Around 75% coverage.
  • Coastal sections: Limited coverage; Spark offers the best service in these areas.
