It all kicks off with a water taxi ride from Kaiteriteri Beach to the golden sands of Anchorage Bay, offering the perfect opportunity to soak up the beauty of this iconic spot. From there, enjoy a relaxed 1.5-hour self-guided walk along the Pitt Head loop track. The trail is an easy one, offering sweeping views across the park and guiding you to the hidden gem of Te Pukatea Bay, one of the region’s most cherished beaches.

After your walk, step aboard a sailing catamaran and let the wind carry you across the turquoise waters of the Tasman Bay. With the sun on your face and the ocean breeze in your hair, keep an eye out for native New Zealand fur seals lounging on the rocks as you glide past hidden coves, forested headlands and golden beaches. Itinerary

9:00 AM or 10:30 AM – Depart from Kaiteriteri Beach

Board your pre-arranged water taxi* and cruise along the stunning Abel Tasman coastline.
Enjoy scenic views as you make your way to Anchorage Bay.

Late Morning – Explore Anchorage & Pitt Head Loop Track

Arrive at Anchorage Bay and begin your 1.5-hour self-guided walk.
Follow the Pitt Head Loop Track for panoramic views and visit the beautiful Te Pukatea Bay before returning to Anchorage.

1:30 PM – Set Sail from Anchorage Bay

Board your sailing catamaran and relax as you cruise the coastline.
Spot playful New Zealand fur seals and enjoy the fresh sea breeze.

4:30 PM – Return to Kaiteriteri Beach

Sail out to sea before heading back to Kaiteriteri Beach.
End your adventure with unforgettable coastal views and a relaxing sailing experience.
