Half Day Wine & Christchurch City Tour

If you’re visiting Christchurch, New Zealand for only a short period, this Half Day Wine & Christchurch City Tour is designed for you. We collect you from accommodation in the inner city and journey to the Selwyn or Waipara wine-growing areas for a brief introduction to Canterbury wines.

Your guide will line up three wineries to visit depending on the day and the availability of wineries. It’s an exciting visit ahead as both regions are renowned for producing aromatic whites and Pinot Noir.

Not far from the Christchurch city centre are a handful of boutique vineyards and wineries that you will visit for wine tastings. As you move from one winery to another, you will soon discover why New Zealand wines and its makers are some of the most celebrated in the world.

As we explore the city and the surrounding suburbs, we will also be able to talk about the extent of damage of the 2010/2011 earthquakes and present to you the new Christchurch as recovery and reconstruction continues.

The tour lasts for 3.5 hours so you can go either on a morning or afternoon tour depending on your timetable. Tour duration includes tastings at 3 wineries.
