Overview
Journey to Edoras made famous by the Peter Jackson Lord of the Rings trilogy, and the capital of the Rohan people. Edoras is located on Mt Potts High Country Station at remote and beautiful Mt Sunday. You can see how Mt Sunday was transformed into Edoras, and immerse yourself in the unspoilt, natural beauty of the spectacular scenery. Take in the breathtaking views of the Southern Alps, clear sparkling lakes, and glistening blue creeks and rivers, whilst breathing the crisp mountain air.
Wheel Chairs
This tour is not recommended for those with wheel chairs. Depending on which vehicle we use, it can be several high steps to get up into it, plus the rough track up Mt Sunday is quite rocky and uneven, and on terrain that can be very muddy and slippery (especially on the way down).
