Private Lord of the Rings Half Day Wellington Tour

Commencing at either 9.30am or 1pm your Private Lord of the Rings Half Day Wellington Tour sets out to our first stop at the Hobbit’s hideaway in the “Outer Shire,” we pause at the top of Mt Victoria to admire the views. We then proceed to Miramar for the Weta Cave shop and museum tour before watching a short documentary describing the film making ventures of Peter Jackson and his extraordinary team. Capping off the tour is a compelling exhibition called “Window into the Workshop,” showcasing film props and weaponry, with the artists themselves explaining how the artefacts were crafted. The tour finishes at either 12.30pm or 4pm.
