This private three-hour forest bathing walk on Waiheke Island combines gentle walking, guided sensory invitations and mindful pauses in nature. An ANFT-accredited guide tailors the session for groups of four or more, including friends, corporate teams and incentive groups. Tea and snacks are included, while Auckland ferry fares must be arranged separately.

Guided Forest Bathing on Waiheke Island

Slow movement and a series of guided invitations encourage participants to become more present through sight, sound, touch and smell. The experience is not a conventional hike, and the emphasis is on mindful attention rather than distance, speed or physical challenge.

The session concludes with a tea ceremony, providing time to reflect and integrate the experience before continuing with the rest of the day.

The walk is suitable for groups of friends, corporate teams and incentive groups. Activities can be shaped around the needs of the group and may also reflect themes from a meeting, team session or wider wellbeing programme.

Suggested session times are:

For a morning session, we recommend the 9.00 am ferry from Downtown Auckland. The ferry crossing takes approximately 35 minutes. Current ferry schedules should still be checked before travel.
