With a friendly local guide, every step feels like an invitation into the island’s thriving artistic community.

The tour doesn’t stop at indoor galleries—outdoor art plays a big role too. A stroll through a local park reveals striking sculptures that bring the landscape to life in unexpected ways. It’s a rare chance to see how nature and creativity blend seamlessly on Waiheke Island.

Enriching Your Day with Art, Food, and Nature

This five-hour tour also takes you behind the scenes of working studios. You’ll meet painters, sculptors, and even a shoemaker, each offering a glimpse into their creative process and daily life on the island. These moments create a personal connection that makes the art feel even more meaningful.

Adding to the experience, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at Church Bay Studio, the home of artist Gabriella Lewenz. Surrounded by her stunning works, the meal feels as artistic as it is delicious. To finish, a peaceful walk through the Atawhai-Whenua Forest & Bird Reserve provides a calm, natural balance to the day.
