Scenic Coastal Walk with Tailored Experiences

This private walk offers a chance to enjoy Waiheke Island at a relaxed pace, making it ideal for groups seeking a shared outdoor experience. With your guide leading the way, you’ll explore a route that can be shaped around your fitness and interests. From corporate groups to families and friends, it’s the perfect blend of fresh air and connection.

The walk typically begins near the ferry terminal, leading towards the striking Church Bay Headland. Here, you’ll find the site of the renowned Sculpture on the Gulf exhibition, before continuing through a regenerating native reserve. As the path opens to sweeping views of the Hauraki Gulf, the natural beauty of Waiheke truly comes alive.

Highlights of Waiheke’s Natural and Cultural Treasures

Along the way, Pohutukawa trees line the coastline, their vibrant blooms adding colour to the sea views. The regenerating forest offers a glimpse into how native bush is thriving again, making the trail rich in both beauty and ecological significance. Your guide enhances the walk with stories about local flora, fauna, and Waiheke’s cultural past.

At the end of your walk, you’ll have the option to continue your day at one of Waiheke’s iconic destinations. Choose from vineyards such as Mudbrick or Cable Bay for wine and food, stroll through Oneroa Village, or simply return to the ferry for a relaxed trip back. However you finish, the experience leaves lasting memories of Waiheke’s charm.
