Exploring the Southern Path
The southern route winds through Pio Rehutai Reserve and along the Church Bay headland, creating a perfect balance of nature and culture. As you pass through the sculpture park and bush reserve, hidden coves reveal themselves along the trail. Views of Auckland city across the sparkling harbour add another layer to the experience.
With the walk split into two parts and a break for lunch in between, you’ll have time to recharge before continuing your journey. Tides determine whether the northern or southern route comes first, adding a touch of variety each time. It’s no wonder this is one of Waiheke’s most sought-after guided adventures, so booking ahead is essential.
