Enjoy three days of exploring the fascinating and diverse landscapes of Central Otago on a 3 Day Wanaka and Otago Bespoke Photography Tour from superb accommodation in Wanaka, New Zealand where you will be based. We drive to some of the most stunning and photogenic places of Central Otago using 4WD vehicles, and bring you to the right spots to capture the golden hours of light right after sunrise and just before sunset. We’ll make the most out of the time set aside for exploring a handful of fascinating locations from the isolated Nevis Valley to the wide open lookouts across Mt Aspiring National Park.

You have the option of meeting us in Wanaka this morning, or an early pickup from Queenstown Airport, with travel to Wanaka included in the workshop. After assembling at our accommodation, we will head out to explore nearby locations. There will be plenty of time to cover settings for advancing your landscape photography, before heading out for an evening shoot to one of the finest panoramas of Lake Wanaka.
Hotel: 2 Nights at Edgewater Resort, Wanaka
An early morning start sees is 4WDing over a high pass and into one of the best river valley’s in Central Otago. In the afternoon we’ll head around to another high landscape before returning to our accommodation later in the evening. The walking is easy on this day allowing us to take the time to explore the photographic opportunities in this area.
We’ll head through to the Maniatoto and spend all day exploring this unique part of New Zealand. This elemental landscape offers much for the eye and there are limitless ways to explore it photographically. The day will finish with return transport back to Queenstown Airport or to your next connection in Queenstown.
